Murdoch media in particular angry about Indigenous ban on entry of media to Aboriginal lands without permission. Here the National Indigenous Times focuses on global international indigenous solidarity and calls on UN; the Murdoch press belittles critics though foregrounds “golden boy” of sport Ian Thorpe who “represents” the liberal mainstream, and through whom Indigenous issues get airing. In the  clip, Indigenous lawyer Professor Larissa Behrendt attacks the Intervention on alternative community video/YouTube. They each represent a different form of “journalism”, though point to the role of media power in agenda setting.
